2023 Medicare Open Enrollment
For seniors age 65 and older, the annual Medicare Red and Blue Card conversion period will begin on October 15th and run through December 7th. During this period, policyholders will have the opportunity to adjust their existing red and blue card Medicare plans, with the new plans going into effect on January 1 of next year.

Medicare Red and Blue Cards (Medicare)

We reminds you that there is a short period from October 15 to December 7 each year for the annual conversion of Red and Blue Card Medicare, during which seniors can make adjustments, additions, deletions or conversions to their existing insurance plans. You can apply for the Federal Red and Blue Cards as long as you meet the following criteria:
- U.S. citizens or green card holders who have lived in the U.S. for five years or more
- 65 years of age or older, or eligible due to a disability or other serious medical condition
- Need to apply for a red or blue card at your local Social Security office or online within three months before your 65th birthday (online application portal)
